HS-35 Power - Testimonials

Send us your before and after photos of your horse, along with your testimony of what HS-35 has done for your horse, and we will publish it on our website. Your horse must have been on HS-35 for at least 100 days.

Trainer Robert Parker (Freeburg, IL) says his horses train better when they are fed HS-35.

“They are mentally more alert and willing with plenty of energy, but not hot,” he says. “They are calmer, more responsive and better minded. It helps them maintain their work ethic, ability and comprehension!”

Across the board, he likes the increased stamina and enhanced muscle tone.

“I like a lot of things about HS-35. I appreciate an all-inclusive supplement in which I can provide all the nutrients necessary irrespective of their energy requirement. I am not tied to a cookbook approach to feed a certain amount of commercial feed in order to meet my horses nutritional needs while sometimes overfeeding or underfeeding on calories. With HS-35, I can tailor my program and supplement with whole oats as an energy supplement to get exactly the condition I need.
" Another advantage is that it meets the requirements for all horses and at all stages. I can stock one feed for all horses—mares, babies and everything in between. Furthermore, going this route, I can save a minimum of 30% on my feed costs because the feed costs less and also because the horses’ nutritional needs are met and, consequently, they are more efficient in utilizing the groceries you do feed them."

“This is my 3-year-old mare, Sweet Seeking Page, aka ‘Ruth.’ Her mom was on HS-35 for conception and during the entire pregnancy, and she has been on HS-35 her entire life. I have her legs x-rayed every year, and they are always clean. Everyone is always impressed by her size, condition and hair coat. She is also N/N. I can’t say enough good things about this product when people ask me about it.”

I have been feeding HS-35 for over three years after hearing about it from one of my horse friends, and I have to say that my two mares are in top condition One is a Quarter Horse, and one is an Arabian.

I was skeptical and had to check out the nutritional advantages on your label.

Winter, spring, summer and fall, I feed according to your directions with oats, and couldn’t be more pleased. It’s easy to feed and “the
Girls” love it. They are both very healthy and their coats are even shiny during our brutal mid-west winters.

They receive mostly grass hay with a little alfalfa mixed in and salt. That's it.

Thank you HS-35!:-)

Foundered Mare

My 8 year old Arabian mare foundered in Feb 2007. I never could figure out why, because she didn’t get into any feed. I had two vets tell me to put her down as her coffin bone was coming thru the bottom of her feet. The vet had me put her on a heavy dose of Bute®. I kept her in the stall as she was so lame she couldn’t walk. I had different farriers look at her feet. Even though I never had shoes on her before, I had her shod. With the shoes, my little mare was in so much pain, she could hardly stand. I then contacted a natural trimmer who removed her shoes. I starting soaking my mare’s front feet in warm Epsom® salt morning and night. I also duct taped Styrofoam under her front feet and then put her in easy boots which I had borrowed from the farrier. The real difference occurred, however, when I attended the Minnesota Horse Expo in St. Paul during the end of April. I was on my way to buy a pair of EZ boots, when I happened to stop at the HS-35 booth. I talked to Faye and told her my mare had foundered and that I was on my way to get easy boots from another booth. She told me not to waste my money. She said to start my mare on HS-35 and was sure I would be riding my mare again. To make a long story short, I was able to ride my mare the middle of August 2007. I totally believe in HS-35. I feed my mare just a small handful of hull less oats with the HS-35 morning and night, and she is doing great.

Here are the photos of the 2006 Filly, C Jays No Fool, born April 1, 2006. The mare was not on HS 35 during the time she was carrying this foal, and due to having trouble getting the mare rebred, she was put on HS 35 when the filly was one month old. The second set of photos is of a full sibling born in 2007 after the mare had been on HS 35 for entire pregnancy. Remember, these two fillies have the same dam and sire. They were raised at the same location on the same hay and pasture. The only difference is the HS 35.

LT Kid on HS-35

“We have been in the breeding business for 32 years and have tried almost every brand of feed, supplement and secret ingredient that has passed through the halter horse industry. In 2005, we were told about a product called HS-35. True to form, when I came home from the World Show, I immediately contacted them, found a dealer and made my first purchase. After many years of trying to keep our young futurity colts sound, we have finally found a product that has proven to us that it does what it says it will if fed properly, which means starting with the [pregnant] mare. We feed it to our stallion, mares and show horses. We really believe it is what has helped keep our colts sound and increased the conception rate for our mares.

After a heavy show schedule, LT Kid came off the show circuit into the breeding barn with excellent results. In 2007, we were 11th on AQHA Leading Breeders of Halter Horse winners and 14th on the All Time Leading Breeders of Halter Horse Winners. We are very excited about HS-35 and the fact that it is so economical and easy to feed; even my youngest foals go right for it. Most importantly, however, it is what it has done for our horses.”

Misty After HS-35 Misty After HS-35

I just wanted let you know how much I appreciate all you have done for me and my horses over the past year. As you know, I was introduced to the HS-35 through a horse purchase from Splash’d w/Black Paint Horses in Ogilvie MN. I was immediately impressed with the product, which gave my horses a wonderful coat and renewed energy. I have had Arabians most of my life and used many different products, grains mixes and supplements without much success and a lot of expense. Due to your kind and knowledgeable direction we are all on a much happier, healthier and cheaper road of life. Although I don’t show any of my horses, I feel like they could step into a ring today and look like they had been conditioned and prepped for months without having done anything other than having given them a haircut and bath! I am including a detailed account of my most challenging horse story to date in hopes that my testimony will help other owners and the horses they love. You will note that I used three of the products you recommended: HS-35™, 911 Emergency Crisis Care Paste® and Cool Calories 100.® I feel that by using all three of the above ingredients in conjunction with a good diet of oats and quality grass hay, I was able to see such dramatic results in just 90 days. I have told several people about your products, but I have found that most don’t ‘believe it until they see it.’ Well, this is for all you skeptics out there.....!!!

Maria Jefferis, Colorado Springs, CO

*Please note that 911 Emergency Crisis Care paste was used only once with this mare. In addition to helping “jump start” thin horses, it also has a multitude of other uses including colic, after foaling and for diarrhea (adults and foals). Anyone who owns, shows, breeds, races, trail rides or transports horses should keep a tube on hand in case of an emergency. In other words, if you own a horse, you cannot afford to be without one! (HS-35 Nutrition Consultant Faye Rudsenske).

**HS-35 is fed according to the weight of the horse and cannot be fed with any other fortified feed.

I began feeding HS35 to my horses in May 2004 after visiting a horse breeding farm in Minn. I commented on how healthy and wonderful their horses looked and was introduced to HS-35. I brought a few bags back home to Michigan to try on my horses. My gelding, who was 18 years old at that time, had several problems His hooves were very shelly, cracked and easily broken. We couldn’t keep shoes on him, and he was always too tender to ride on gravel. As he aged, he developed arthritis, was stiff and often moved slowly. He had also developed a mild case of heaves which we treated with oral steroids prior to riding. Over the years, we had tried numerous supplements to no avail. He had been on Farriers Formula® for three years to help improve the condition of his feet with minimal results. We had also tried other hoof supplements prior to this without a positive effect. He was also on a MSM/Glucosamine supplement in addition to his regular horse feed (we had tried several brands of feeds also). The supplement did seem to provide some relief for his arthritis as he appeared less stiff and was more willing to lie down and had an easier time getting up. It was difficult at feeding time and also expensive since we had to buy feed and two other supplements as well as the steroids.

After about a month on the HS35, we noticed further improvement. He acted like a young horse again, running with the others and kicking up his heels in the pasture. The farrier also noticed it when he came to trim as he was generally quite stiff in the hind. Being much more limber made the farrier’s job easier. Over the next year, his hooves really improved as well. We changed to barefoot trimming and no longer used shoes. His hooves were stronger, less shelly, had fewer cracks, and he was able to be ridden on our dirt road. The following spring, after having been on HS-35 for a little less than a year, he no longer needed the Steroids. No matter where or how we rode he never had a coughing spell. It was wonderful!

I know these changes are all due to the HS35 because, I ran out about 4-5 months ago, and I’ve seen a dramatic change (regression) in my now 21 year old gelding. He moves slowly and appears sore again; his feet are tender, and he has started coughing again. He has started to lose a little weight. He has been checked by the vet recently, had his teeth floated and has had regular vaccinations and de-worming so I know that the regression is from not getting the HS-35. I’ve added an MSM supplement which has helped somewhat with his arthritis. I am diligently trying to find a source closer to home to obtain the HS-35 as I am 100 percent sold on the benefits of this product.

I have used it on my stallion, broodmares, babies and pleasure horses. My vet and anyone who saw my horses always told me how healthy they looked and how shiny their coats were. This is the best product I have ever used. The ease of feeding and the cost is just an added bonus.

My family and I own and show miniature horses. They’re very nice horses. They became even nicer after we started using HS-35 in the spring of 2006. We have performance horses that drive and jump, and all of them have better stamina and energy than ever before. Since we introduced HS-35 into their diet, their coats got healthier and shinier and their colors are more vibrant. When we wash our minis, the water beads up and rolls off their coats because their hair is so slick and shiny. Our farrier expected our minis’ hooves to wear down and chip because of all the driving and jumping they do

Instead, he marvels at the condition of their feet and how quickly they grow. Best of all, according to my thrifty husband, our feed bill has been reduced since we started using HS-35. Now all of our horses only get hay and some cleaned oats with HS-35 sprinkled in. I’ve tried just about every type of feed and supplement to find the best for my horses. I finally found it in HS-35. In my opinion, it’s the simplest and BEST dietary program I’ve ever had my horses on.
At the 2006 AMHR Nationals in Tulsa, OK, we won three national championships, four reserve national titles, 22 top fives and 45 top tens.

Mariah Cyphers and Sparkie Red PowerMariah Cyphers and her 20-year-old Quarter Horse Sparkie Red Power (a.k.a. Moon) won the 2006 Pole Bending Championship for the second consecutive year at the Region 6 Experience in St. Paul, MN on July 23rd. This is Mariah's second year showing her horse in all speed events.

“Moon” has been on HS-35 since Feb. of 2005 when the Cyphers purchased her. The two posted an even faster time this year!

Proud parent Ruth ann Cyphers reports that she loves the product and feeds it to all four of their horses. “You would never know that ‘Moon’ is 20 years old,” she says. “When we got her, she was a little nervous, and the HS35 has helped calm her down.  I love the product and it does not make our horses hyper! It’s a great product and inexpensive as well. Thanks again.”

I just had to drop a quick note regarding HS 35. I've been feeding it to my horses for about nine months now and in addition to their shiny coats and good overall healthy, I recently noticed a change in my buckskin broodmare’s skin cancer. She has big, ugly growths the vet doesn't want to remove since they just grow back ( we tried, and they did). She had a HUGE growth by her udder— at least two inches in diameter and three to three and half inches long. It was-raw looking on the end and looked terrible. This specific one has grown quite fast as it seems to be located on her large milk vein. After she foaled this spring, it got big—quickly.

To make a long story short, as of TODAY [June 22, 2006[, it is almost flush with her body and greatly decreased in size. The only thing I have done differently is to change her diet by adding HS35. Her other sarcoids are still there, but this specific one is definitely much smaller. I am sooo tickled. I have told EVERYBODY about the supplement and bragged about it to my vet, farrier, drill team members and everybody who has the misfortune to come into my barn!

I have put all my horses on the supplement [HS-35]. The bay gelding shows no signs of stiffness anymore. I couldn’t be happier.

My husband bought a bag of HS-35 at the Iowa Farm Show in August [2005]. We have an older roping horse (17) that had constant runny eyes. In the last three weeks since we started feeding him this supplement, his eyes have cleared up completely. He looks so much better! We purchased him last spring and his previous owner, who had owned him for 10 years, could never figure out why his eyes were like that. We are so impressed [HS-35] and have started feeding it to all of our horses.

After two months of using HS-35, the Crowe's of Luck, WI, report the following:"We are very impressed with HS-35 and the way our three foundered Pintos are recovering.
Their general appearance is amazing. They have glossy coats, silky manes and tails and are
moving very well. I plan to continue using this product and my entire herd is on it now. All of
our horses are much healthier."

Dennis & Shirley Crowe, Luck, WI

Our pony, Rocky, has chronic founder from a previous owner. We have owned him for three years and have tried everything to help his hooves. Just two months on the HS-35 has totally turned around his hooves. They look normal from the top view, and when you pick them up, even the bottom side is returning to normal.
